So I am due for my first baby in April, Yay!
So far ive been on a basic plan that doesnt cover hospital stays, so im doing open enrollment for next year so the birth will be covered.
I also have secondary insurance with Medi-Cal which is staying until covid is no longer declared a national emergency (could be anyday now).
So far Medi-Cal has helped cover whatever my basic plan doesnt.
My out of pocket max for family is $13,000 with the new plan…and costs 800 a month..Im on my husbands plan thru his work (mine doesnt offer it)
My question is, will I be paying 13,000 to have the baby in April? Is there anything i can do?
