Wasn’t sure what flair to use
This is long so I apologize. 92056 Temporary MediCal coverage issue
So i’ll try to summarize this disaster of paper chasing. Husband was laid off in Feb 2020 (before covid) so we lost our health insurance. After months of phone calls and website data entry I was able to get coverage for my husband and I through Covered California and my boys through MediCal. Basically it took months to get it all lined out then one month later my husband took a new job and we had job sponsored health insurance again. It took several phone calls and phone tag to dis-enroll in all the coverage. It was to be stopped June 1st. Was finally given confirmation the county dis-enrolled us in August. Still receiving statements for Medi-Cal monthly premiums and tons of health care plan paperwork for my boys. Was told county shows us closed out in August but State never closed our account. My last payment was in August I believe.
All these statements still arriving say Past Due from the state but I was under impression our account was closed in August. Since the state is sending them and we aren’t paying them is that going to affect our credit?
No one from the state will return my calls. County says they cannot access any information on state level.
