My employer is providing me with some options to sign up for health insurance:
-Cigna Open Access PPO (in network) – monthly premium: $361.60; deductible: $750; OoP Max – $4000
-Cigna Open Access PPO w/ HSA – monthly premium: $283.31; deductible: $3000; OoP Max – $5000
-Cigna Local Plus PPO – monthly premium: $311.42; deductible: $750; OoP Max – $4000
-Cigna Local Plus PPO w/ HSA – monthly premium: 237.63; deductible: $3000; OoP Max – $5000
Should I just sign up for my own health insurance? How is Cigna, and how has your exp with Local v. OAP been? I’m 26 years old, very healthy, and I make around $40k.
