I exhausted my benefits this past week (was laid off last week in March.) The paying state was Maine. I have since moved to California and have until midnight tonight to update my health insurance application (ACA) through Covered California’s website. My Maine unemployment website shows I have no active claim. But I am confused about what the new law means. Am I going to continue to receive unemployment in January? Should I put that on my application today even though the Maine unemployment site has yet to reflect that?
I had previously put 0 as my income for Jan, but they extended the Covered California deadline to today and I am not sure how/if to update it with the new bill.
