My wife has the option to stay on COBRA through September but has a medical issue that isn’t covered and needs to be addressed ASAP.
If we enroll in a better plan through healthcare.gov during open enrollment (begins Monday the 15th, but not sure how the national holiday will delay our application until the 16th) when will coverage begin?
I’ll try to confirm directly with the marketplace but hope that someone here can answer, for planning purposes. I haven’t found the info on healthcare.gov or elsewhere online.
