Following the outstanding success of the first edition of eLearning Unplugged, we returned with eLearning Unplugged 2020 Fall Edition, for an even bigger response! Held on the 28th of January 2021, the event offered a platform for the winners of the Adobe Showcase Challenge: Fall 2020 as they exhibited their projects created on Adobe Captivate 2019 and revealed the tips and tricks that had helped them along the way. The successful event witnessed participants from across the globe sharing their thoughts on eLearning.
The hosts- Dr. Pooja Jaisingh, Lead eLearning Evangelist at Adobe, and Avranil Kumar Das, made the session highly interactive and exciting by engaging the participants throughout the session.
Winning secrets from the Finalists
Aislinn L. demonstrated her project, Which One Is It? that perfectly struck the chord between fun and an informative quizzing experience. During the session, Aislinn shared valuable insights on how she integrated the 3D models and Morph effect of PowerPoint into an eLearning platform.
Wayne M. presented Number Guess Game, his project which mixed the right proportion of curiosity and reasoning to create a truly immersive experience. During the session, he explained how to create an interactive JavaScript-based project. He also revealed the resources that he used for animating his project.
Robyn O.’s project Simple Ways to Connect Safely leveraged the art of storytelling to make people smile and connect better with those they care about in this pandemic. During the session, she explained how creating Artboards in Adobe Illustrator helps her develop graphics for her project.
Bonne N. demonstrated her project, Questy Arthur where the art of quizzing met the canvas of an epic, binding both excitement and learning at the same time. During the session, Bonne explained how she used player controls in the eLearning space. She also displayed how using Advanced Actions can make a project more interactive.
While one of our finalists, Esther R. from eLearning Goodies couldn’t attend the event, her project, Safety Quiz is still a treat to explore as it deals with serious topics like safety with a responsible yet simple eLearning approach.
Every project was a refreshing eLearning experience that strengthened our vision as an eLearning solution platform. We would like to thank and congratulate everyone for their eager participation and top-notch creativity; and of course, hope for even greater enthusiasm in all the contests to come.
