My daughter just started working for the federal government. All her health insurance options are expensive and/or not very comprehensive. Luckily she still qualifies to be on my platinum health insurance from my NY public school job. I am so surprised that federal employees have such crappy health insurance options. I spoke to a friend who works for one of the 3 letter agencies and he actually uses his wife’s teacher health insurance. I now see why people leave public service due to lack of good health insurance options.
