Help deciding what insurance plan to get – Kaiser

Not sure how to organize this post so bear with me. I have a chronic lifelong autoimmune condition – ulcerative colitis – and have been receiving treatment for it under my parent’s work insurance plan the past few years. I come off their plan this month when i turn 26. I’m now attempting to get on board my work’s insurance and trying to stay with Kaiser to keep the Doctors and specialists I’ve been seeing.

I am currently on prescription meds that apparently cost ~$5,000-$6,000/mo without insurance. I also get lab tests done at least once a month, but typically twice a month. I have done many, many non-surgical procedures, and have visited the ER and/or Urgent Care many times in the past 2 years alone. I imagine that I will have more emergency/urgent care visits, and countless more procedures this upcoming year.

I’m currently deciding whether to pick between Gold or Platinum, which would be ~$75 or ~$100 respectively. I assume Silver would not be the best option for me to pick given my frequency and cost of treatment.

I’ll attach the details of the Gold plans I have now, but I wont know the details of the Platinum plan until tomorrow.

Any advice or tips of what I should go for given my medical history?

Should i also look into Medi-Cal? I’m working at a PT clinic but only making $13/hr – making less than $20,000 this year and the year before, etc.
