I just realized the offerings at my new job are terrible and I’m panicking.

I signed on with a new company. Seemed like I was getting a modest pay raise. Then I saw the insurance offerings and realized I screwed myself.

They only offer high deductible plans with ridiculous deductibles at stupid premiums. And they defend it by offering to put a bit of cash in an HSA each month(Less than half the cost of just my prescriptions)

I make $45000. I live in Colorado. I need preventative care and primary care covered. I need urgent care covered. I want lab and x-ray covered. And I can’t have these benefits kick in after I meet a deductible. And I whatever deductible I do have I need to be reasonable. And I can budget a $300 premium without going broke.

I’m panicking. How screwed am I?
