I’m confused.

So I’ve been having some health issues for a while and it ended me up in the er… and I had to see a cardiologist and then he referred me to an ep. and long story short. I had to do some tests. I scheduled them and I called the place where I went in to make sure it was covered and each one said I was good. And even when I went in, I got a cost estimate sheet and so on. So I figured I was good? Well any who, now I’ve been receiving mail saying one of them wasn’t medically necessary and that they won’t cover it. Well then they did end up send it again and I noticed they covered a portion of it like 300 dollars on a 7,500 test. But says the remainder is pending insurance. My question is, when I have a test to do. Can I just have the place doing it verify with my insurance and I’m good to go? If I receive that cost estimate with my insurance on it, am I good to go? I’m worried they’re going to start trying to charge me upwards of 10 grand and idk what to do. Or how to avoid it.
