I recently started a new job that required relocation, my daughter was previously on my fiances healthcare plan through her job but she had to quit after we moved.
Right now my job doesn’t offer health insurance but that will most likely change in the future, but as of right now I’m without insurance also. I guess my question is what would be the best way to get insurance for my daughter?
My daughter is 8months old, will need a checkup next month, I make around 55k a year but my fiance doesn’t work. I doubt I qualify for medicaid but money is really tight after moving.
Edit: I was unemployed for most of 2020 and didn’t have insurance. My fiance has health insurance through the VA so we aren’t worried about getting her covered.
