Hi, I will be a full time student and will be moving to california in the month of September.
I have figured that I can apply for medi-cal.
However, my school requires me to have the insurance well before my school starts with a deadline of end of august.
If I am unable to show my insurance they will charge me hefty fees providing existing school insurance.
I would like to understand that can I apply for medi-cal in the month of july to be able to have insurance for the month of august and get the waiver?
However I will not be resident of California state in july.
Any leads is appreciated!
