Insurance question!

Hi y’all! I’ve been recently having to go to the doctors a lot and do tons of tests and I was under the impression that if I go in to get a test done, and they run it through my insurance, give me an estimate of my cost, that it’s covered through my insurance, or at least a portion of it is. I recently got something in the mail saying a certain test wasn’t medically necessary? When it was ordered directly by my cardiologist and is necessary in order to come to a diagnosis. I called my insurance and they say they just need to send over different codes and not to worry about it?But when I go to the facilities website it says “there’s a bill of 7,500$ that is under review and if your insurance doesn’t cover any you could be responsible for the full amount”. Is it true that they just need to send over more info? Or should I be a little worried they might try to bill me the full amount? I was under the impression that it was already accepted because they gave me the cost estimate with insurance… helpppppp thanks!
