Is paying $270 premium Marketplace plan worth it?

I am quitting my part-time job that offers health insurance since I accepted an internship offer that pays more for the summer. My current job offers health insurance if you work at least 20 hours a week.

I am debating if I should just pay for my medical expenses without insurance or getting a marketplace plan. I am a college student in Texas (77845) making around $11k when filing taxes. I am trying to find the cheapest way to pay for my medical expenses. I mainly just need to see the doctor for a prescription I’m on. I’ve been seeing that $270/month premium is low. According to healthcare.gov I do not quality for Medicaid in Texas. I also am not under my parents since they do not qualify for any health insurance. I am an independent and filed as one for 2020 taxes.

I am mainly just trying to find out what’s the best option for me.
