My husband and I are looking for the lowest cost possible health insurance in California to cover us while he’s working as an independent contractor. Since we don’t know when he will get a new job (his previous place of employment closed due to covid) we don’t want to be penalized for not having health insurance. We’re both young (28, 32) and healthy so it’s mostly to avoid the penalty than needing doctor visits at the moment.
Any advice or help would be appreciated!
