Medicaid, missed open enrollment, and 38 weeks pregnant

I would greatly appreciate any advice on how to resolve this hole that my husband and I accidentally dug ourselves into… (Or at the very least understand better how this situation could be resolved.) We had received our cards for 2021 and mistakenly assumed that all was well with our insurance. We decided to take today to get all our ducks in a row for the new year and found that our Medicaid insurance is terminated as of today when we went to check our deductible.

I am currently 38.5 weeks pregnant and due to have our son any day now. Since it’s a holiday, the office is closed for inquiry and my husband and I are researching what we can with little clarification. We definitely can’t afford a hospital bill without insurance.

My question is… Does anyone know if reactivating our past plan is a possibility or if I qualify for special enrollment due to the “changes in enrollment”?

Thank you so much in advance for any and all advice and information.

Updated to include that we had Medicaid this past year and, with no changes to our income, had planned to be on track with our same plan. Age (33) State (GA)
