My fertility clinic submitted wrong codes

Must Read

I am with Cigna in Georgia which covers fertility treatments. The clinic we used was out of network so we pay 30% which is okay.

All of the appointments, ultrasounds, bloodwork etc…have been submitted to Cigna with what they say is the wrong code. There are simple labs there that are thousands of dollars. And they are still ‘unpaid’ claims. Although it says patient owes zero…

Cigna told me they would just have to resubmit using the correct code but they haven’t done this yet and it’s been a while now. This is already such a stressful process and with this on top isn’t helping! Not sure if I should contact the clinic or let it be? I feel like I am just waiting to wake up with a huge bill.
