Need help finding coverage from grandpa’s chemotherapy drugs.

My grandfather in california was diagnosed with myelodysplasia in September and he has Medicare and a Blue cross blue shield catastrophic plan. He doesn’t have a part D Rx plan.

The oncologist wants to add on Venclexcta injections along with Vidaza injections. He is otherwise a healthy 82 year old and doesn’t have other conditions. Insurance has been covering the Vidaza injections and the blood transfusions, however won’t cover the Venclexcta. If we stick with his current healthcare coverage setup he would pay over $6000 for the Venclexcta. He doesn’t qualify for aid.

Can you help us find the best plan that will help him?
