NORTH CAROLINA – Is there any way for me to get Individual Dental insurance that covers orthodontics (braces) for adults that kicks in some time during this calendar year of 2021? Or heck, is there any way i can join a group – even if I am not currently working?

I have an existing primary dental insurance plan. And my insurance company will coordinate benefits.

Is there any way to get supplemental or regular dental insurance that covers braces/orthodontic treatment for adults as an individual? And if so, how will I get it to kick in during 2021 when the orthodontic treatment will take place?

I have looked into dental savings plans and the orthodontist does not accept them.
