Overlap of two insurances- unsure which to submit claims to

Must Read

Tl;dr- I currently have two PPO insurance plans and am unsure which to submit my out of network claim to first.

I was in grad school this past fall and got on my school’s health insurance. My coverage through that plan ends today. Grad school during a pandemic wasn’t the right choice for me so I am not taking classes this spring and I went back to work full-time. My work insurance began coverage on December 15th so I’ve got two months where I have two insurances. I go to some out of network doctors and I need to submit for reimbursement but I don’t know which one to submit to as my primary and if I should mention that I am covered by another plan. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
