Picking and choosing for only benefits I need

33M, good health, no smoking

I need insurance primarily to meet my psychiatrist and the associated RX costs. I expect to need coverage for 3-mo to 1 year. This currently runs me 150 for the visit and 120 for meds(coupons), per month, for 270/m total.

Through the ACA I’m eligible for a 131/m plan that should bring my out of pocket costs to 60, so 194 total cost/m. ~240 of the plans cost is through tax credits or whatever they do for ACA.

Do I pay 131/m, or do I pay the actual plan cost and just get the difference back on my taxes? Cause then this is a no go.

I want to find coverage of some kind with extremely limited benefits, ideally specialist(psych) copay (BEFORE deductible), and generic prescription drug coverage. Is insurance even right for me? How can I just buy what I need and not what I don’t?

I know I should have actual coverage, but I am broke and my mental health is my singular priority.
