Putting a claim in to two health insurance policies.

My wife is having a baby in March, she already submitted an inquiry with her insurance to verify benefits to see how much of the birthing process is covered (midwife birth at a birthing center which is $7500, they said they will cover 70% of the $7500.

My question is, if we also submit the bills to my insurance that I have thru my union, which we just put her on after getting married since it doesn’t cost me any money, would it be rejected since there was a claim in with another insurance company for the same billing? How do I know which would be secondary insurance?
