Recent Emergency Room Visit

I went to the emergency room today with pain in my chest and shortness of breath. They performed a chest x ray, blood work and did a CT scan because they were concerned I may have a blood clot in my lungs. I ended up being diagnosed with bronchitis.

I have never had any medical problems or have been to an emergency room so I am a little ignorant on what I can expect to be billed for. I have United Healthcare Allsavers. I know I’m on the hook for the $300 copay for the visit but I have no clue about the additional tests. I should have done more research before allowing them to do those tests because I’m reading some real horror stories online now.

Can anyone shed any light on what I’m in for here? Definitely feeling very concerned right now.

Edit – I am in Georgia
