I am a 37 year old female looking to freeze my eggs. My employer provides insurance coverage for this at one specific site. Unfortunately, with the hours and location of that facility, I would be unable to fulfill the terms of my employment (would be late, unable to participate in mandatory meetings and education). I am seeking a waiver to be treated at another site closer to my home, with better hours, and the ability to have continuity of care in another city in the event that I need to move closer to family. Any advice on requesting a waiver of insurance coverage in this situation? It would be otherwise neither financially nor logistically feasible for me to do this at the moment.
