Should I buy this plan if I am anticipating a surgery?

Hi everyone,

I am going to sign up for a plan soon, I want to be sure I am making the right choice.

I am anticipating a medically necessary surgery to repair my perforated septum. The surgery can be VERY expensive (over $10,000), I am considering a plan with Kaiser Permanente: http://info.kaiserpermanente.org/healthplans/maryland/individual/pdfs/2021-ON-Exchange/KP_MD_Silver_600_10_CSR_Vision_3200.pdf

The annual deductible is $600, the OOP is $2700. My premium could be between $100 – $300.

If am not 100% certain that my insurance will cover this surgery, they should because left untreated, my condition affects my ability to breathe properly.

Am I missing something here? This OOP is very low, what are some things I might not be considering? I would be okay with paying $2700 for a necessary and otherwise expensive surgery, but are there ways in which I could be overcharged for a medically necessary surgery? It basically seems too good to be true, that my maximum could be so low.
