I’m in Arizona, a notoriously awful state for care and insurance apparently.
I have avoided having insurance, mostly because its useless after Obamacare ruined my amazing insurance years ago. Now, I need it, I’m in trouble with my digestion and hormones, so I have to get it, at least until I am better and can cancel it.
The options in Arizona are slim. Oscar Health and some garbage that everyone hates called AmBetter.
TBH, it really seems like having no insurance and paying cash may be the way to go. All of these “amazing programs” dont pay, or at the very least are just disguised catastrophic plans. 15K per year before they pay for any of my services? Seriously? Is this our health care system. My god.
I’m lost for words. IF I pay for insurance, then I’m broke, and that 15K I had to live on is now making me a paycheck to paycheck person. I’m tempted to just file bankruptcy if the shit hits the fan and start over.
Im so lost in this awful system of insurance not being insurance and doing everything they can do to not pay anything.
