Turning 26 in early January but currently unemployed. I am very unsure if (or how) I should use the marketplace.

State: Iowa

Context: Turning 26 year old in January, live with my parents and a sibling, going to a local university at below part-time enrollment (Bachelors, yeah I know weird…) but I should graduate (or at least have some sort of job) in Spring 2021 semester. Sibling goes to a different school but full time.

As stated in the title. I’m unsure how to approach applying for insurance considering my circumstances.

Do I apply my whole family in one go as we did in the past and then just hope the healthcare.gov site notices my age in 2021 and can guide me?

Or do I apply my 3 family members and then apply myself alone? (I was in the middle of doing this but the application made it seem like I was suggesting my family members didn’t need insurance so I stopped)

Or do I just skip the marketplace entirely and directly apply for medicaid somehow?
