I am using Captivate 2019, v. 11.5.5. I have also just updated my Media Encoder to the latest version.
My issue is that Captivate will not publish my imported .mp4 videos when publishing the project to a Video. I can play my .mp4 videos outside of Captivate using VLC and Windows Media Player, yet when I insert one as an event video, and after publishing as a Video, my inserted video will begin to play then abort.
I have tried importing it straight into my Library with no luck. I have also tried running the .mp4 video through the Adobe Media Encoder and then importing into my project- again with no luck.
I’ve been using this for 5 years and while I’ve had plenty of other odd issues, this one is really a deal breaker. If it helps, this is also after I have lost the ability to create new video demos too. Very frustrating!
If it helps, I have also un and then reinstalled Captivate. No change to the problems.
Any ideas?
