I am prescribed an anti anxiety medication due to some complex health issues I’ve been dealing with for the past few years. My partner is staunchly against anxiety medication and “won’t allow” me to take it. I am not currently in a situation where I can leave, so I am forced to discreetly fill my prescription to get some relief. I just found out that there is a prescription fill log on our UHC online portal – and my spouse is the administrator of the account. I am a secondary on the policy. Is there any way for me to request that my prescription history be removed from the website? I am terrified of my partner finding out and kicking me out without any savings, income or the ability to hold down a full time job due to my diagnoses. Until recently I was running the prescription through insurance and then just asking to pay out of pocket at pickup, but yesterday the pharmacist refused to do this. Any work around? I’m genuinely afraid of being found out.
