I clearly don’t understand health insurance because the one I’m enrolled in hardly covers anything. I’ve been told it’s an “indemnity” plan and doesn’t cover anything maternity.
My first maternity doctors appointment is Wednesday and they’ve just called to inform me that my health insurance will cover $125 but I will have to cover the remaining $725.
I’m not married and only make about $30K annually. My job’s open enrollment will be in January but there’s no way I can afford the monthly pregnancy checkups at this rate. Edit: I’m 27 and area code 33771.
I would love any and all guidance to resources, health insurances, ideas to make this work. Thank you!
