Hi everyone, so I am a 20 year old who is self employed. When It came to health insurance I was always on my moms plan but she recently quit her job and I will no longer be covered in the new year. My dad has insurance but wants to charge me $500 a month. I am a broke 20 year old going to college since and trying to move out on my own and simply cannot afford that when the cost of living where I am is outrageous. Should I start looking for something that will offer insurance? I don’t know what else to do and it scares the shit out of me to not have health insurance. I can’t afford to pay out of pocket.
