I’ve been claimed as dependant every year. This year when we file taxes will be the first year i won’t be claimed as a dependent but I still live at home. I lose my insurance in February.
Would it be possible for me to be eligible for medi-cal? My mom can’t qualify for it neither could as dependant under my mom’s insurance. But since I won’t be dependent anymore could I now qualify for it? Currently i dont have work (not taking unemployment) so my options are medi-cal or covered CA plans at full price. I’m trying to avoid covered CA because i have undiagnosed health issues and don’t know what the future will look like regarding procedures and Dr visits.
