So I have all sorts of health benefits through my employer health vision dental fsa/hsa etc and I really don’t even know where to start about understanding my benefits, how to use them, how much I pay for what, etc. I’ve tried asking our HR team, but we work remotely and setting up a meeting with them…well they act like they just don’t want to be there. They throw out a bunch of terms I don’t understand and act like it’s a giant hassle just speaking to me.
Does some third party service exist that will look at your paperwork and talk you through all of it? I search for “health insurance consultant” but that just brings up insurance agents for specific companies. I’d be more than happy to pay a couple hundred bucks to sit with an expert who will talk me through it.
