I receive my insurance (Florida Blue BlueOptions) from my employer, who is based in Florida, but I live in Texas. I’ve spent hours digging around through the online member portal, but I’m completely unable to find a single provider in Texas that takes my insurance.
Maybe I’m completely missing something here, but I’m really surprised that I pay full price for this insurance when I can’t even use 80% of the online features because I don’t live in Florida.
From what I’ve read, outside of Florida I’m covered by BlueCard, but I don’t know where to look for providers that accept BlueCard. All I’ve been able to find is a phone number to call and ask about providers, but is there no possible way for me to do this online?
Thank you in advance!
