I have applied so many times and I am denied every time. I make $15 hr and only get 8-10 hours a week. It’s a part time position and my boss cannot give me more than 12 hours a week. My annual tax return showed I made just a little over $6,000 in 2020. My refund is $70….Thankfully I still live with family at 21 and do not have to pay rent. I do however pay car insurance, student debt, gas, food, phone bill, medical bills, any damages or repairs to my vehicle, etc. However, I’m still scraping by to make ends meet. I need my medication and new birth control implant, plus be checked for endo as it runs in my family. I am in so much pain . I cannot afford to pay a $200+ premium a month for health insurance that I still have to meet my deductible to use. Why do I not meet the criteria for at least low cost insurance? I met the criteria in TN(I lost this insurance when I moved) but do not meet the criteria for TX.
