hi reddit so honestly i have no idea how health insurance works, i’m currently under my parents health insurance plan. i had a counseling appointment with a provider that is covered by insurance X, which is what what i had at the time. after the appointment, my family switched to insurance Y. i just got an email from them saying if they could charge my current balance of $170 to my card. are they not covering it because i switched insurances after the appointment?
