Hi reddit, i am a healthy 25 year old male and i need help finding affordable health care. I recently moved to North Carolina from California. In California i qualified for Medi-cal but with my move to NC I have not found a program similar and i make more money here than i did there. What are my options as far as affordable health care, i don’t have too much money but i have a steady income. I am an independent sub contractor so i am pretty much on my own with the health care i decide.
