Hello everyone,
I am a bit confused on something that happened to me.
I went to a hospital to get a Covid Test back in November. I went in through the ER.I signed up and the doctor’s took my temp/readings (the normal stuff). However, after briefly talking with the doctor they would not give me a Covid Test. When I exited they gave me a bill and charged me 550 dollars for the visit.
I told them I couldn’t pay them, they took my insurance and I left.
I later called a few days later telling them that I would not pay 550 since I didn’t get anything done and they didn’t even give me a Covid test. The lady on the phone said that bill was an estimate and that the real bill would be lower. I have not received said bill.
Should I be worried?
