I received a letter from Optum Recovery Services. They want me to contact them as they are seeking “more information about the treatment [I] received” because it’s “possible [my] medical costs should be paid by another insurer.” Am I safe to ignore this request?

I haven’t been involved in any sort of accident — such as a car accident or a slip and fall — in over a decade so I’m confident that they won’t find anyone to go after. Health insurer is UHC. I’m not comfortable giving my age, income, or zip code on the internet.
