Hi all,
Me: 39 healthy male
Wife: 36 healthy female
And now 2 week old healthy newborn
I currently have BCBS of IL (we still have a place there). But I don’t qualify for subsidies and my rates $1,700/month for the three of us on a Blue Choice PPO. All our doctors are in network even in TN with the PPO.
A realtor friend of mine suggested “Farm Bureau of TN”. For all of us, it would be around $600. The problem is will I regret switching? Will they deny claims? I’m aware of the 6 month pre existing conditions, and the 9 month maternity. They also have a max $7500/yr for prescriptions per person. I don’t see any other blatant gotchas, but there may be?
Any experiences with Farm Bureau? Or other recommendations?
