My mother just told me she gave blue cross blue shield a call in hopes of getting health insurance since my father got laid off but they gave it to her for ?FREE? Insurance for a year? She is in texas. is this a new goverment service if they make under a certain amount? They only asked for her name and DOB no other information. She recieved the cards and company information book. Everything looks legit since ive had that insurance before at my old job. But i cant comprehend that it will be flat out free?
