Hey everyone! I am having surgery in May. My insurance will cover 80% but I will be stuck with the other 20%. My husband is a student and can add me to a health plan that also will pay 80%. The health plan would be $500 for the semester. The surgery will be $1600+ considering all goes well. I don’t know how dual insurance works. Would the second insurance pick up the rest? What do you recommend?
