any advice welcome!

Hi, I am moving to DC and am looking to get covered with health insurance for the first time. I am a US citizen but have not lived there full time before. I am currently on an unpaid internship and therefore will not be earning for the next 6 months. I am young and healthy and do not plan on going to the doctors much (touch wood), but I want coverage for emergencies. After looking, it seems I am eligible through the DC HealthLink for plans with high deductibles such as catastrophic coverage. Can anyone help offer advice on the best plan to be on, and whether I may be eligible for any benefits that may reduce the cost of my insurance?
