(California) Last year I was laid off but my employer kept our insurance (Blue Shield) going with cobra through the end of the year. I am employed now, with new insurance (Aetna). Noticed some recent doctor visits did not show up on my current insurance and was curious so I signed into the old one and sure enough they were sent to the old insurance. What confuses my is that the claims were approved. It also says my old plan is still good though next February. What’s going on here? I am not paying them. Could they come back in the future and try to charge me for the claims they already approved, or the premiums? Mainly worried that I will be responsible for something.
