I had told my husband’s insurance company, multiple times, that I had Medicare. It’s not like they didn’t know. Now they’re going to be reprocessing 3+ years of claims. The plan has a deductible, an HSA, and we’ve paid in to an FSA. Will this mean my husband and children’s claims could be affected, since this could change when we would have reached the deductible? What about when and how much the HSA would have paid, and to whom? What about all of the OOP costs the FSA reimbursed?
Who do I call? What should I be prepared for? Why does this all have to be so complicated?
Edit: I’m on Medicare for S. S. Disability. It’s just vanilla A&B. I’m 37, zip code 15061, and our income is about $60k, combined.
