I have anthem blue cross in CA and I have an HMO plan. I’ve tried looking online through anthems website for doctors “within network” but there’s been a few where they are listed on the website but when I call in to their office they tell me they do not support HMO, their location/number is different from the website, or some other problem as if anthems in network is out of date or something?
Do these lists get updated often or am I missing something? My worst fear is to accidentally go somewhere that’s listed when it’s actually not and then have a fat bill sent me way.
