On 2/19/2021 my position was eliminated and I have paid about $2,500 for family coverage via a COBRA administrator. My COBRA benefits became effective 2/20/2021 and are paid through 3/31/2021. I am starting another job in the next few days and the medical benefits are effective 4/1/2021.
Questions:
Is ARPA going to allow retroactive reimbursements for employees whose position was eliminated due to COVID-19 prior to 4/1/2021?
Will I be reimbursed for the COBRA payments I have made thus far?($2,500)
