I’ve never had this happen to me before until today. I’m went to see an in-network dermatologist and her office said because I haven’t meet my deductible, they require a 75 dollar deposit for today’s visit which should equal to what the negotiated price from my insurance. And if the price comes back less I’ll get a refund but if more I’ll have to pay extra.
They said they’ll have to do this until I meet my deductible.
Is this normal?
