my wife has been on my insurance for the last year. i changed jobs midway through. in the new job any claim that she has had submitted have been denied. upon further inspection her dad has her listed on his insurance (but wont remove her or give us a copy of the card) so now my insurance is denying her claim reporting that his insurance should pay it and the bills are accumulating. I thought my insurance is primary in this situation. Can anyone explain this? BCBS said that her dads insurance should cover it because “she has been on that policy longer”. This system is broken!!
