I’ve had some serious back pain for several months now and am trying to find a solution. I went to a chiropractor and that help a bit but decided to see a physician. He said I needed to do some physical therapy before my insurance would sign off on an MRI. Now after a couple months of PT I still have back pain. I switched jobs during all this and now have a new insurance provider. I checked and my doctor is still in network.
Do I call him and ask for an MRI or can I just contact an MRI office directly to schedule an appointment?
